$250,000 Toldo grant supports skills for priesthood

A new chair for teaching, research and counselling services will be established at St. Peter’s Seminary thanks to a $250,000 contribution from the Toldo Foundation of Windsor.

The funds will be spread over five years and will help prepare people for the priesthood.

“The work at the seminary will be focused on assisting people in moving towards, or already in, the priesthood, diaconate and lay ministry to further develop skills of self-awareness, a capacity for building healthy, productive relationships with the communities they serve, and effectively dealing with challenges experienced on their faith journeys,” the Diocese of London said in a release.
